The dashboard is your homepage in Journalia. Here you'll find workflows that help you get started quickly with the right type of documentation, such as consultation, dictation, or summary.
Workflows can be tailored to your profession, organization, and past use of Journalia. They may include preselected templates, note types, and supplementary templates, so you don't have to set these up manually each time.
Start a workflow
In the middle of the dashboard you'll find the workflows you can start from. The options shown may vary depending on how Journalia is set up for you.
New consultation – for conducting a patient consultation and creating a note draft based on the conversation.
Dictation – for dictating text directly, without starting a full consultation.
Summary – for creating a summary based on text, notes, or attachments.
Customize your workflows
You can customize which workflows appear on the dashboard under Preferences → Dashboard.
There you can add, remove, or reorder workflows, so the ones you use most are easily accessible when you log in.
To create your own workflow, click New workflow. There you can choose which sources are available to the workflow, and which templates and supplementary notes to include.
To return to the default setup, use Reset.
Which workflows you can edit or add depends on the permissions set up for you and your organization.
